50th Anniversary Celebration - 08/19/23
Family, friends, and parishoners came together to celebrate Father Andrew's 50th anniversary of his ordination to the Holy Priesthood. After a special Hierarchial Divine Liturgy officiated by His Eminence Archbishop Melchisedek, a celebratory luncheon was held at The Casino at Lakemont Park in Altoona. Remarks in honor of Father Andrew were given by Mark Twardon - President of SS Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, Altoona; Nick Gresh - President of Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Colver; and Jon-Paul Matychak, son of Father Andrew and the late Matushka Georgette Matychak. A big thank you to Ron Skvir for putting this special celebration together!
